Conservation Volunteers

Description: An opportunity to help protect the amazing wildlife and landscape at Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve. We need your help to support our small team of staff improve wildlife habitats and paths for children to experience them. Join our friendly team of volunteers for some healthy exercise and fun doing practical conservation including scrub bashing and step building. Our experienced Nature Reserve team will help you learn more about our local wildlife and their habitats. Develop some new practical skills, from how to construct fence to using a brush cutter with our support. We need your help if you are practical and enjoy being outside with likeminded people. A benefit of volunteering is all the tea, cake and lunches you can eat provided by caterers at the Field Centre.

Times you can volunteer: Times are flexible and our conservation group meet on Thursdays.
